Leonor Noivo

LEONOR NOIVO grew up in Macao. She came to Lisbon in the late 90s, where she studied architecture before joining Film School. She’d later study in Ateliers Varan, cinéma vérité school, which became a decisive artistic influence for her. Her films were screened and awarded in festivals around the world, like LOCARNO, ROTTERDAM, ZINEBI, FID
MARSEILLE amongst others. Co-founder of TERRATREME, a film collective created in 2008 and the most active production company in Portugal. There she develops her work as screenwriter, assistant director, editor and producer of directors like João Pedro Rodrigues, Claudia Varejão, Carlos Conceição or Salaviza.
