Coco Tassel
Coco Tassel graduated from the ENSAD in Paris (École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs) and has a Master’s degree in Art History. She began her journey in the world of images as illustrator, art director, and editor of some fifteen books. She also collaborated with the Japanese publisher Sazady and participated in several exhibitions. She is the author of J’adopte: Journal, published by Alternatives-Gallimard and La Comédie du sommeil alongside Valéria Bruni-Tedeschi. She has hosted several events in which authors, filmmakers, and actors discuss adoption, filiation, and transmission for France Culture. For the occasion, she directed her first film, a short documentary about resemblance. She and Claire Doyon created Cofilms Production in 2015, through which she produced and directed six short and medium-length films, including Hors Cadre, a trilogy selected at Brive Festival. She keeps a video-diary, Charlotte in Winter. There Where the Grass is Greener is her first feature-length documentary.
