Silva Khnkanosian

Silva Khnkanosian is a director and photographer. She made her first film at 21: Nothing To Be Afraid Of. The film follows five women doing civilian mine clearance on the Armenian border. It has been selected at Dok Leipzig, IFFR Rotterdam, Fipadoc, FICCI Cartagena…and has won awards. In 2020, at the start of the 44-day war, Silva left to shoot in Stepanakaert. Far From Michigan is her second feature film.
