Les Sanglières
France
In the heart of a Cévennes forest, different temporalities intertwine: from the defense of communal lands in the 16th century to the privatized forest of today, a story takes shape, in search of what we have in common.
Elsa Brès
Elsa Brès was born in 1985 and lives in Bréau, in the Cévennes. She graduated from Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains in 2017 and from the Paris-Belleville school of architecture in 2012. Her films and installations focus on forces of resistance in contemporary socio-natural landscapes. Combining research, narratives and experimentation, her projects are anchored in long timeframes and in territories to which she is linked. She is an active member of the Elinka films production collective.
