Summer 2006, Israel’s war against Lebanon. On a boat carrying aid to a besieged Beirut, the loudspeaker heaps praise on the passengers who are on their way to help the population. Corpses are pulled from the rubble, bodies redefine the frontiers of other bodies, wrapped in the smell of death.
Screening followed by a talk by Maher Abi Samra and Ghassan Salhab, video-tracts by the group Video Tract For Palestine and a reading of an extract from Cap au pire by Samuel Beckett, in Arabic and French (or vice versa).
