Cinéma du réel wants the festival to be an event not exclusively reserved for professionals, but one that also includes young audiences. To this end, Cinéma du réel set up initiatives to encourage students to be more involved in the running of the festival, and created Réel Université in 2022. Each year, under this label, we organise a day dedicated to students, during which they are invited to take part in workshops on documentary film. To enable as many students as possible to come to the festival, Cinéma du réel is renewing its student pass offer, which gives access to the entire programme as well as to many of the festival’s activities.
Student passes can be requested by students or Service civique participants upon presentation of a student card, a school certificate for the current year or a Service civic contract.
